Construction progresses: floor slabs above Level 5 and basement utilities take shape

The structure rises as lower floors prepare for the next stage

Formwork is currently being installed for the slabs above the fifth above-ground floor. These moulds will hold the concrete as it sets, forming the next part of the building’s load-bearing structure. Concrete pouring in sections A1 and B1 is scheduled for the coming week.

At the same time, the reinforced concrete structure on the lower floors is being cleaned up and finished in preparation for subsequent interior work. Work inside the apartments is currently expected to begin in late September or early October.

Building services take shape in the basement

An important part of construction is also taking place underground. Ventilation ductwork and electrical systems are being installed in the basement, with work on water supply and drainage systems now beginning.

Although most of these installations will be concealed once the building is complete, they are essential to its day-to-day operation. Their installation marks another step towards completing the infrastructure serving the future apartments and communal areas.

Water supply works continue outside

Construction activity extends beyond the building itself. Outside, the existing water main is being relocated and a new water supply connection to the building is being installed. These works will connect the property to the water supply network.

Progress continues across the load-bearing structure, building services and preparations for interior work. The next key milestones will be pouring the remaining scheduled slabs and beginning work inside the apartments. We will continue to keep you updated as construction moves forward.
